Gary's first post!

Hey everyone, just thought I would put a little post on here also. We are so excited right now! Jen is doing and has done so awesome, I am so proud of her! She has the room ready to go, we acutually changed the room we were going to use, and it came out awesome. Dont worry, still plenty of room for visitors here in Pooler. The former guest room is now Baby Sarah's room. We put a full size bed in the bonus room, so now its a great guest room/second family room with a bed. We have a few baby showers coming up, and also are buying some diapers when we go to the store.

I am going to post a few pics of Jen in her fullness of pregnancy, she looks great and has amazing skin and hair. We appreciate the gifts that we have recieved, and cant wait for our new addition to arive. Jen is still working, no more travel but keeping her nose to the grindstone. I am working and back to school. It will be tough when the baby gets here, but we will have some help and it will all be good. When the big day comes, I will post pics and a few blogs from the hospital. Take care and the next 10 weeks will go by in a flash.

First Post

Well, we are giving into the peer pressure, jumping on the band wagon or whatever you want to call it. Jen and Gary are blogging. Very soon we will be "Mountjoy Party of 3" so we figured we better start now while we have some sanity and are getting 7 to 8 hours of sleep a night. As we have been told many times, we expect our lives to be turned upside down in about 10 weeks. However, we have also been told several times that this change is for the better. Jen is 30 weeks pregnant with our first child - a baby girl due July 3rd. We plan to call her Sarah Kate. So far, everything is going smoothly and we are slowly but surely preparing our household for this new addition. Part of this process includes preparing our other children - the dogs! This should be an interesting transition for both of them especially Toby the beagle. He definitely likes to be number 1 and was not happy when he was introduced to Savannah the first time. Over six years has past and they get along pretty well now so there is hope for adding the new baby! We think Savannah will easily adjust and probably actually be the protector of the baby and Toby will be fine as long as one of us holds him while the other one is holding the baby!
