39 1/2 weeks...no baby yet!

Went to the Dr. yesterday and I am still only 1cm dilated, so I guess that means it could be another week...or any day now. I am keeping my fingers crossed that it will be any day now! The actual due date is this Friday but my Dr. is off this Friday - Sunday so hopefully she will come before or after the weekend! Stay tuned...

38 1/2 Weeks...Almost there!

We went to the Doctor on Monday and got great news...I am 1cm dilated so I am making progress towards having this baby. He feels confident that I should have her within the next 7 - 10 days! I am still feeling pretty good, just anxious. I have been spending a lot of time in the pool trying to stay cool since it is so hot! We are pretty sure we have everything together. Our hospital bag is packed, the car seat is installed, the room is ready, we purchased a video camera, we have enough diapers to get us through a few weeks - maybe...
So please keep us in your thoughts and prayers and we will keep you posted!

36 Weeks 3 Days, and the Indy Shower

Hey everyone, hope we are giving some good info on this blog. Jen and I went to her 36 week ultrasound this morning, everything is great, and she is doing awesome. She is not dialated at all so we are thinking maybe 3 more weeks.
We got a tremendous suprise, it was a baby shower in a box. This was from our friends in Indy and they are Ryan and Kathy B, Christian and Keri S, Ryan and Lynne R, Mike and Sara M, Justin and Tyla, McShea and F'n Stewy, Killa Kella, Ope Dog, Focker and Katie L, Bung and Linsay, and King Kong Mike Long. Thank you guys so much, all of the stuff is great and I know Baby Sarah Kate will love it.
Thank you also to Keri Shaw, and Aunt Kay and Claire for the recent showers that they hosted for us. Take care and talk to everyone soon. Enjoy the photo's of the "Baby Shower in a Box". It had to have been Kathy B, Lynne and Keri's idea.

Memorial Day

Hey everyone! It has been a good Memorial Day weekend. We are in GA so no race day for us, but we did our thing down here and had a good time. Thanks to Christy and Gary and Jimmy and Kim for the great couples shower. We got some great gifts and it was awesome. It was great to see Karen "My Step-Mom" and Cortney with her friend Liz. We had a good time and they made it back to FL in good time. No rain here today, first day in quite some time. We had some fish last night with the Grayson's and had a wonderful time. Here are a few pics from the shower.

33 1/2 Weeks...only 5 1/2 more to go(hopefully)

Here are some new pregnant Jen pics. Things are still going and progressing as scheduled. We have our first of 3 baby showers this weekend so we are looking forward to all the cool baby gear coming our way. I cannot believe that I have less than 6 weeks to go. I am getting more excited and nervous everyday. I feel like my belly is growing everyday and cannot possibly get any bigger although, my experienced friends assure me that it can and it will...ugh! I feel like she is running out of room in there and I now feel and sometimes see her every move. I am trying to swim twice a week to stay active as well as walk the dogs everyday, which they love. Enjoy the pics...good thing I am not embarrassed easily!

Gary's first post!

Hey everyone, just thought I would put a little post on here also. We are so excited right now! Jen is doing and has done so awesome, I am so proud of her! She has the room ready to go, we acutually changed the room we were going to use, and it came out awesome. Dont worry, still plenty of room for visitors here in Pooler. The former guest room is now Baby Sarah's room. We put a full size bed in the bonus room, so now its a great guest room/second family room with a bed. We have a few baby showers coming up, and also are buying some diapers when we go to the store.

I am going to post a few pics of Jen in her fullness of pregnancy, she looks great and has amazing skin and hair. We appreciate the gifts that we have recieved, and cant wait for our new addition to arive. Jen is still working, no more travel but keeping her nose to the grindstone. I am working and back to school. It will be tough when the baby gets here, but we will have some help and it will all be good. When the big day comes, I will post pics and a few blogs from the hospital. Take care and the next 10 weeks will go by in a flash.

First Post

Well, we are giving into the peer pressure, jumping on the band wagon or whatever you want to call it. Jen and Gary are blogging. Very soon we will be "Mountjoy Party of 3" so we figured we better start now while we have some sanity and are getting 7 to 8 hours of sleep a night. As we have been told many times, we expect our lives to be turned upside down in about 10 weeks. However, we have also been told several times that this change is for the better. Jen is 30 weeks pregnant with our first child - a baby girl due July 3rd. We plan to call her Sarah Kate. So far, everything is going smoothly and we are slowly but surely preparing our household for this new addition. Part of this process includes preparing our other children - the dogs! This should be an interesting transition for both of them especially Toby the beagle. He definitely likes to be number 1 and was not happy when he was introduced to Savannah the first time. Over six years has past and they get along pretty well now so there is hope for adding the new baby! We think Savannah will easily adjust and probably actually be the protector of the baby and Toby will be fine as long as one of us holds him while the other one is holding the baby!
