Halloween
Since Thanksgiving is almost here, I figured I better post the Halloween pictures! We had a great time Trick or Treating around the neighborhood. Sarah dressed as a cowgirl and Gary and I got into the spirit with some western wear ourselves. However, since we do live in Pooler, GA our costumes could easily have been mistaken for everday wear. Gary especially looked very natural in his clothes! Ali even dressed up. She was a bull with a rider on her back! Sarah had a great time taking candy and putting it in her bag. Mickey Mouse even stopped by to say hello! Sarah loved that. Encase you didn't know, Sr. Pat was Mickey Mouse. Word got out that Mickey Mouse was at our house and kids came looking for him. It was pretty cool. In trying to soak up the experience myself, I didn't get a ton of great pictures so enjoy the few I did get.

Vacation - Kiawah Island
The first week of July we took a family vacation to Kiawah Island, SC. We had a great and relaxing time at the beach. Gary and I even managed to get a round (two for me) of golf in. We had beautiful weather all week. Sarah is quite the beach bum. She loves it! She managed to get knocked over by a couple of waves, totally submerged and she popped up, wiped her eyes and was ready for more.

11 Months Old!
That's right! Sarah Kate is 11 months old today! It is hard to believe it has almost been a year! She is VERY busy exploring her world. She is so much fun but will wear you out! We have visited the pool a few times and she loves it of course. We went to the beach this past weekend and she enjoyed playing in the sand and water. She even managed to "taste" a little sand. She continues to call all dogs Izzy but we are working on her saying Ali. Sarah can also say "baby" and uses this to describe a picture collage that my mom has of Sarah hanging on her wall. Sarah will point to it and say "baby". So sweet! She is not showing signs of being ready to walk anytime time soon but we have seen her stand on her on her own without holding on to anything or anyone a few times. We are definitely not rushing her to walk at this point as she is tough enough to keep with now.
